About me
Hi, I’m Hela.
I support people who are operating in overdrive to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and build the internal safety needed for a regulated, sustainable life. My work blends restorative practices, nervous system awareness, and gentle energetic support to create spaces where people can breathe again.
For most of my life, I moved at a fast pace, constantly taking on more, pushing harder, and rarely stopping long enough to feel what was actually happening inside me. At 15, I was diagnosed with scoliosis, and by the time I was 18, I had undergone two spinal surgeries. That experience forced me to slow down and taught me, early on, the importance of listening to the body.
In my twenties, I poured myself into bodybuilding, chasing discipline, control, and structure. On the outside I looked “strong,” but internally my system was depleted and exhausted. During this time, I also worked in corporate environments, searching for a conventional path that would finally feel right. The combination of constant pressure, physical strain, and emotional disconnection eventually led to burnout, injury, anxiety, insomnia, and the complete loss of my period for three years. My body was overwhelmed, and my nervous system was stuck in survival mode.
A naturopath’s simple instruction to breathe led me back to yoga, reminding me (once again) of the power of slowing down. Gradually, my cycle returned, my nervous system softened, and I began to understand that what I needed wasn’t more discipline, but nourishment, stillness, and internal safety.
I later moved to the Cook Islands, hoping a slower environment would bring lasting peace, only to realise that true calm isn’t something you can relocate to. It has to be created from the inside out. That realisation changed everything.
Today, I guide others through the same shift I had to make myself: moving out of chronic push-mode and into presence, ease, and internal grounding. My approach is gentle, supportive, and rooted in lived experience. It offers a space where people can release pressure, reconnect with their bodies, and build resilience from within.
If you’re seeking a place to soften, and simply breathe again, I’m here to support you.
